New Pearl Jam Album Progress?

UPDATE: 3/21/13:  It now seems that everyone may have been focused on the wrong "string" player in this photo.  Einziger's girlfriend, violin virtuoso Ann Marie Calhoun, is now the one who is rumored to be laying down some track for the new Pearl Jam album.  According to Spin.com, a Pearl Jam representative has said that Einziger is NOT going to be on the new album.

3/20/13:  The anxiously awaited and much debated new Pearl Jam album may be showing new signs of life!  Incubus guitarist (and Eddie Vedder look alike) Michael Einziger posted this picture of himself with Eddie saying, "In the studio with my girl and Eddie Vedder, recording strings for Pearl Jam's new album :)."

Still no official word on a release date for the album.  Guitarists Mike McCready and Stone Gossard have made conflicting statements regarding the potential release as being either the end of this year (2013) or early next year.  This has been the longest gap the band has ever had between album releases so the fans are very anxious to see what the next chapter in this Epic novel will sound like.  Until then, we will continue listening to the amazing auditory gifts that have already been bestowed upon us, on shuffle, repeat.
