I thought it would be cool to have our own party posters made up in the spirit of the band. I have zero artistic ability but I know I have some talented friends out there who could help with this. Here's the plan:
Send me your drawings at pjfan@ymail.com and I'll post them below as they come in. I'll select the poster with the most/best comments (or my favorite if no one is chiming in) and then we'll get a final copy and print a bunch up for the parties. Only rule for right now is, don't put "Pearl Jam" or any band verbiage on it just yet. I'll get the wording approved by Wishlist and 10 Club later and work with you on that. To see pretty much every poster ever done for Pearl Jam for inspiration check out The Colors Blend. Can't wait to see what you can do!

Avacado, Yield, and maybe Ten from @fbartelle look ideal since there is room for party details to be added as text in some of the blank areas. Great work so far!
ReplyDeleteI really love @fbartelle 's artwork. Even more amazing as he created them as part of the game "Draw Something" with limited tools.
ReplyDeleteIf we're looking for one with space to add party details, I agree with Yield and Avocado. I also really like his Binaural--there's something almost magical about it--and I believe we could add text on the left and right hand sides.
I really like @fbartelle Yield poster.
ReplyDeleteGotta say my fav is Lost Dogs @fbartelle
